Are you wondering why "Wax"?
The very first audio recordings were etched onto wax cylinders, invented by Thomas Edison. Later, vinyl records took over — but the nickname stuck. Musicians and DJs still call records “wax” today, as a nod to that history.
That’s why we’re Mind The Wax: it’s our way of honoring the roots of recorded music and the culture built around it.
